The 18th Asian Film Awards took place on March 16 at Hong Kong’s Xiqu Centre, transforming the grand theatre into a veritable Oscars East. We round up the best highlights and award winners of the night.
A star-studded red carpet welcomed the likes of legendary actors and performers such as Eddie Pang, Yu Shi, Kiko and Austin Lin. The evening was a cinematic feast, with over 30 films from 25 countries competing in 16 categories.
The ceremony was presented by a host of familiar faces, including emcees Sarah Song and Jason Chan. It kicked off with a charming performance by Wan Pin Chu and Jonathan Wong.
As the night unfolded, the awards were presented in various categories, recognising outstanding performances.
